Many americans choose a brand while they are shopping and like it and dont use any other but that brand. Maybe its because they want to belong to something and to have meaning. Americans today also dont welcome change into their lives very easily so once they established a brand they like they stick to it.
The few common elements in the persuasion and selling strategies of marketing were customization, target marketing, and experienced based marketing. The new Song airline made their whole campaigne to reach out to women and there needs. They created a woman who is a typical suburban mother who has children and a husband so that many women can relate and want to try this airline.
I believe that in the future advertising will be bigger then ever after all they are looking for new ways to "break through" and reach consumers. Consumers see thousands of ads a day its overwehlming. If the ad industry has taken it to a big extreme like they have at Madison ave then what is stopping them from doing that every where. Technology is getting better everyday and it will be neat to see what direction we do head in with advertising.
